Add Simplification

Here is an exercise for folks involved in making product management decisions. When planning the next release cycle (or planning the product in comparison to competitors), don’t think just in terms of additional features. Think about how to simplify your product – remove unused options, collapse screens. This “added simplification” is worth valuable dollars to users because they spend less time computing, and more time getting their work done. Additionally, a simpler product means their will be fewer future bugs that developers have to manage. That’s something you can take to the bank.

Simplified is not simplistic, as they say. Think about how your product can benefit from less complexity.
